Can you wear makeup in your license photo if you're a guy?

In general, you're not allowed to wear makeup for your driver's license photo if it distorts or conceals your true appearance (this applies to both men and women).

The South Carolina DMV has recently (June 2014) ruled that a boy who was told to remove his makeup before having his license photo taken will not be allowed to retake the photo in makeup. So there's that. Your state may feel differently, so you should check with your local DMV office to see what their rules are.
