Yes, it would be regarded by many to be.

You have to give them your credit card info to purchase their "bid tokens". Then you are bidding on items in an auction. Problem is, you are seeing that there is a limited time left - say 5 minutes - so you bid thinking that it's almost over.

But it's not. Each bid INCREASES the amount of time left for others to bid, thus driving up the price - inevitably - to the "buy it now price".

The "buy it now price" is what they charge for the product, minus whatever tokens you've already bid. Please know that the "price" is a construct, just like with any company. In other Words, just because they say that a product is "valued" at $139.99 does not mean that a reasonable person would think that a juicer is worth that much.

Basically, it's a site to pay more than you need to pay for overpriced junk, and for others to have paid plenty for getting nothing.

(All information regarding them was found in the Terms of Service agreement, so they are technically legal, as they are telling you right up front - well, small print in an obscure section - what they are going to do to you.)
