What is the origin of Orange Telecom?

Orange Telecom originated from the UK mobile network operator, Orange, founded in 1994 by Hans Snook and his team. It quickly grew to become a major player in the telecommunications market. In 2000, the company was acquired by France Télécom, which rebranded itself as Orange S.A. in 2006, unifying its services under the Orange brand worldwide.
