How to keep brown trout?

do you mean keep on alive? brown trout require cold fast running water like streams or rivers I doubt you will have much sucess keeping on in a pond or aquarium unless you have a massive filtering system to keep the water moving. brown trout are concidered game fish in my state and it is not legal to keep them except in the freezer
