99 jetta - 2nd edition - alarm system is causing your car not to start - you have no manual - you have tried the key in the driver's door - locking and unlocking a hundred times - HELP?

I posted this - my entire question did not make it on the board

• I have no idea what the "p" is - sorry - my question was too long
• I guess - car was towed to vw mechanic and he cannot figure it

out - when I turn the key - the panel lights up and radio comes on but will not turn over - not even a click - my battery is good and no problem with starter I know it is the alarm system - HELP!
