Why do you have bruising on your thigh after arthroscopy knee surgery?

Very unusual to have bruising in thigh after arthroscopic knee surgery and you will have to ask the operating team for the reason. Are you on any anticoagulants?

I was just in the er for the exact thing after having the same procedure done. my whole calf and thigh is totally black,not just black and blue, but black, within two days after this procedure. after many tests, they determined that blood vessels broke and if you took asprin during the two weeks prior to surgery, it will be much worse. but it could also be internal bleeding or a blood clot, so if you have this, go to the er right away and i was told to do today
