How do you clean you makeup brushes?

You can buy brush cleaners, rub brushes with olive oil, or make your own brush cleaner. This is a recipe for a good brush cleaner.

Brush Cleaner

1. 1 cup of filtered or bottled water(can boil water if you don't have either)
2. 1/2 tablespoon of dish soap
3. 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol(70% or 90%)
4. 1/2 tablespoon shampoo
5. 1 tablespoon leave in conditioner(spray)
6. Mix all of the ingredients together and place in a spray bottle if you have one.

Spray the brushes with the cleaner and rub the mix in. Rinse under water until the water runs clear of any makeup.

Makeup brushes can harbor lots of dirt and bacteria, but frequent washing of your makeup brushes can keep them - and your face - clean and healthy.
