Is neuroforamen in the back or neck?

The neuroforamen can be found in both the back and neck, as it refers to the openings between the vertebrae through which spinal nerves exit the spinal column. In the cervical region (neck), these foramina are called cervical neuroforamina, while in the thoracic and lumbar regions (back), they are referred to as thoracic and lumbar neuroforamina, respectively. Each set of neuroforamina serves to allow the passage of spinal nerves to the corresponding regions of the body.
