Poodles do not loose fur. They are hypoallergenic and do not shed.

Poodles do not shed. I have one myself and they don't shed. They might bite out their fur if they having itching and is bothering them like humans hair. Poodles need grooming regularly which means brushed with a wire slicker brush so their hair doesn't mat up. Hair cut and a bath every one to two months at least. Brush their hair everyday, remember poodles hair never stops growing.

Poodles do shed. The only dogs that do not shed are the hairless breeds. However when poodles shed the hair remains in their coats rather than falling off. If not groomed frequently the dead hair will become matted and be difficult to remove. In severe cases the mats could cause sores.

Poodles shed little or no hair at all.

Please review the web site below in the related links. This clears up any questions. I started re searching because it doesn't make since to me that the poodle breed doesn't shed at all. I have a poodle myself but we never see hair (fur) on the floor or the couch, hummm!!! Anyway, it turns out they really do shed (almost every animal or creature sheds something). When poodles shed the hair falls back into their own hair because poodles hair is not slippery like say a German shepherd or Dalmatian dog. Plus poodles only have a single coat where as other dogs may have a thick double coat.
