Is nyclex nursing exam valid in all states?

Yes, it is a national exam however you have to apply to the states in which you want to be licensed. Each state has their own requirements including continuing education courses, re-certification, etc. Since some states have higher standards of passing then others, if you try to transfer to another state you might have to sit for the exam again to prove competency.
