Why PCV in male more than in female of the sever dehydraetion?

In severe dehydration, the body's response includes the release of hormones like aldosterone and vasopressin, which promote water retention and can lead to an increase in red blood cell concentration. Males generally have higher levels of testosterone, which stimulates erythropoiesis (the production of red blood cells) more than estrogen does in females. Additionally, males typically have a larger blood volume and muscle mass, which can contribute to a higher packed cell volume (PCV) during dehydration. Thus, the combination of hormonal differences and physiological factors results in higher PCV in males compared to females under severe dehydration conditions.
