Do grasshoppers help the envirment

No, they do not help us, in fact, grasshoppers eat your plants. the worst kind of grasshopper multiplies very quickly, gets very large, is colorful, (or is black with a red, orange, or yellow stripe down it's back) and is called a Lubber Grasshopper. if you see one, there's sure to be more somewhere, so exterminate them.
