from experience, i have just started to notice my beautiful gupies dying off, about a month ago i lost the mother gupie and about the last 2 week or so 3 of them. i've raised them from birth, and they are a just a little past 2 yrs old so i believe about 2 to 3 years is their life expectancy. i really miss momma fish, in the last 2 years she birthed approximately 5oo baby gupies of all colors and wasn't finished, she gave me 10 beautiful little babies the day before she departed.
