Will a daffodil change color with food coloring and water?

AnswerYESThis works best with white carnations as the whole flower will change colour, usually with lillies only the tips of the petals will change colour. I used to love doing it with the lighter coloured daffodils and found that the petals would change colour but not the bit that stands up in the middle :))
