Is it okay if you were coming out of a parking lot and accidentally hit a car but when you looked there was no damage to either car so you just left because the owner of the car was not there?

sure if you are a cop or an insurance adjuster.... the average person would not see hiodden damage like bent bumper bracket or pushed in shocks.... besides the law states that you must notify the owner of another vehical of a collision... otherwise it is a hit and run which is illegal
