Will a 71 350 Chevy water pump interchange with a 77 350 Chevy I have the later model engine with early p-steering brackets Will it cool ok?

cooling will not be a problem. the 71 pump fits a little differently than a 77 but nonetheless bolts up the same, and obviously the alt bracket and or Power Steering are much different.
