Where is the camshaft position sensor in the 2002 VW Beetle 1.8T?

Lower front of engine on the drivers side, up a little by the transmission.

Has 10mm bolt and has a tear drop shape with about a 6" wire with a 3/4 pin connector.

Unplug, remove the bolt and wiggle a bit, it should come out easy, replace with new part and bolt it back in.

Plug it to the connector, Start the car let it sit running for about 5 min. (For Automatic) put it in gear, 1 gear at a time while holding the brake remain in each gear for about 30 sec. Return to park shut it off and restart it, take it for a drive
