The lungs are like Bagpipes in that both function as reservoirs for air and utilize a controlled release of that air to create sound. Just as bagpipes store air in a bag and use finger placement and pressure to produce musical notes, the lungs expand to fill with air and contract to push air through the vocal cords, enabling speech and sound production. Both systems require a balance of airflow and pressure to perform effectively.
