How do you remove CD multi player from 2006 BMW X3?

To remove the CD multi-player from a 2006 BMW X3, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Then, carefully pry off the trim surrounding the stereo using a trim removal tool. Unscrew the mounting screws holding the CD player in place, and gently pull it out. Finally, disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable from the back of the player.
