Lots of different things. It really depends on the Clan to see what a specific cat will dine on. (heh heh. Dine.)
~~~Note: When I say 'birds' it just means that I'm too lazy to write "Blackbirds, robins, bluebirds, blue jays" etc. Basically, any kind of bird that show up.
ThunderClan cats who live in the forest will eat mice, voles, birds, the occasional rabbit, shrews, squirrels, and (VERY occasionally) fish. However, they ONLY eat fish if they're very, very hungry. (i.e. a major prey shortage that hasn't affected the streams.)
RiverClan cats who live near the river obviously eat mostly fish. The stream is usually plentiful, and due to their love of fish, they usually don't stray from it. However, in case of a drought that dries up the stream, or a Twoleg blocking it, they are hit the worst, and are resorted to eating any small animals they can find (which are few and far between).
WindClan cats - who live on the hills - generally eat rabbits, as they are swift enough to catch them. They also catch the occasional field mouse and large bird. However they can always resort to any other animal straying onto their territory.
ShadowClan cats who live in the swampy areas eat frogs, mice, birds, squirrels, voles, and the like. They basically eat like ThunderClan, but a little different, with frogs abundant and less woodland animals.
Other food the Clans have been known to eat during hard times:
-Rats. These are usually stayed away from, but in survival-tough times, rats have been eaten.
-Twoleg/Kittypet food. Yes, it's disgusting. Yes, it's despicable (lol!).But Cloudpelt once ate with kittypets in the first series while still an apprentice, and in very difficult times, trash cans have been raided or Twolegs robbed for food.
-Crowfood. While still the same prey, but rotted and disgusting, crowfood is usually considered as a (disgusting) part of life - to be thrown out as soon as it arrives. It is not usually considered as food. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Crowfood is also found rotting besides the Thunderpath (roadkill) and eaten, no matter how disgusting it tastes.
