How many college students buy a car while in college?

Not very many. Most college campuses have no parking space or charge insane prices for parking passes. This is especially true if you are living in the city. However, if you are a commuter student to a suburban or rural college, this might be a good option for you if no other form of transportation in available. If you are living on-campus, a car is simply not a necessity.
