Non-homeopathic. --------- A: Conventional medicine refers to Western Medcine, strongly influenced by empiricism. In conventional medicine, a series of scientific checks and balances are applied and, if the results of an experiment cannot be duplicated, the information unearthed by that experiment is in question. That which is unseen is thought therefore not to exist, at least in terms of published fact. Non-conventional medcine encompasses quite a few other outlooks. Homeopathy refers to the holistic belief that substances that produce symptoms in healthy people will act in a curative manner when given in extremelt diluted form to sickly people displaying the same symptoms1. Eastern medicine often concerns itself with concepts that, while having been around for years, are difficult or impossible to prove using empirical methods. 1 I realize this isn't the vernacular interpretation of "homeopathic medcine" nowadays, but it is in fact the actual definition.
