Do baby mantis eat fruit

I have had quite a few as pets, I have one right now and I have fed them fruit up until they are a few weeks old. Then I also feed them live bugs and fruit. They eat more fruit than they do insects, as far as I can see. My current pet barely eats insects at all, they like bannannas, Apples, especially Oranges, ect.
