You might have heard a conjugation of the verb 'shikaru'(to scold), like 'shikarare mashita'

which would mean '(I,you,etc) was/were scolded'.

It has a weak possibility to be two Words of shi and kara in which case it could mean 'from death', 'since death', 'from the corpse' and such.

You might have mistaken 'chikara' (power, strength) with shikara.

Maybe you heard 'shikaraba' which means 'if that's the case, if so'.
