Can Teflon coated pants be washed in hot water?

No. Machine wash using the permanent press cycle (105°F/40°C) only using liquid detergent and then only a small amount. Never use powder detergents, fabric softeners, stain removers or bleach. No not wash with other heavily soiled clothing.

Line drying is strongly recommended or it could be tumble dried on warm gentle cycle. Once dry tumble dry the garment for 20 minutes to reactivate the water repellent in the outer fabric.

These can be dry cleaned as well, but tell the cleaner to use clear distilled hydrocarbon solvent for rinsing then spray DWR on the outer fabric before drying.

Last but not least, always follow any washing and care instructions found on the label for the garment. Always.
