Why is your tamagotchi in a long sleep?

If your tamagotchi is still, and looks a bit like an angel, I'm sorry, it's dead.

If it's it's normal figure, and not paused, then you might want to check his health stats and try some of the other button options.

He also may be sleeping. If he is, I can assure you it will wake up soon enough.

Another option is that your tamagotchi may have some sort of technical fault. Make sure no sand or water has got into the buttons.

If you think all is clear, and you've checked all these steps, then maybe you will have to restart your tamagotchi (by pointing a sharp object into the back hole)

With some versions, when the tama is an egg, you can press B (I think) and then it will come up with two options. Download or reset. Try pressing download, it might just activate your old tamagotchi and see if it works there.
