In the United States there is only one required test - the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam (NAVLE). However, to be able to take the NAVLE you have to complete at least three years of undergraduate college and four years of vet school, during which you will take a great number of tests.

Once you pass the NAVLE, you may have to take a second test from the State Veterinary Licensing Board to get a State license to practice veterinary medicine in that state.
