How can one set up a camera to do a web chat?

Clip the camera onto the top of a monitor or in case of a laptop on the top of the screen. If you have a stand up camera ( one with a pole) then place it to either side facing you. If it is a lower cost model you may need to have a desk lamp facing you and on. Plug in the camera into your system. Some operating systems may auto install some may need a disc or download. You should check online if the camera has updated software. Most disc are out of date. Configure the camera to you liking.
