Why does it take so long to upload my videos on youtube?

It takes so long because people are uploading videos to YouTube every day, every minute, every 5 seconds. So basically YouTube lags alot like a game that has 100000 explosions in it and starts to lag it. An upload is basically a piece of memory taken up. If you wanna upload quick, the best time would be on Sundays or anytime around 2~8 o'clock maybe? At some times, your videos may only take 30 minutes to upload. Sometimes, you should just wait for the next 3 hours. You should not upload from a really slow computer because that will just maximise the waiting time. Other than that, you should be able to upload a maximum of at least 3 videos a day. (If you keep uploading 24/7 you might be able to upload 15 videos or more) When no-one is uploading basically your uploads may only take the time of the duration of your video.
