Why do teenagers bedisrespectful?

Be firm and make sure no one can take advantage. Just don't agitate them. It only happens when a poor relationship is formed, or when they get irritated at something said or done to them. They don't like being told what to do, and sometimes it's because they want to show they cannot be controlled.
