I am an ASM in Southern California. The offer was for 29k. Do not be afraid to negotiate, if you know you are able to do the job. I was hired at 32k. Know what you need, and ask for it. If they are looking for you, and you have sold yourself, then they will pay for you. Do not allow yourself to be the status quo.
