How can you use a cause-and-effect paragraph?

A cause and effect paragraph relates one or more cause to one or more effects.

So & so fell riding her bike. Effect: She skinned her knee. Her mother gave first aid.

So & so went to the doctor. Effect: She learned she had the flu. The doctor told her what to do.

You just went to the store looking for a certain type of food and you find that they just ran out. Effect 1: You buy something else for dinner. OR Effect 2: You wait till the next time they stock the food that you were looking for and eat something else today.
