it is possible, i did it in my cutlass and the frame had holes for the mounts one hole does not accually touch the frame but it works great, you need to bend new trans lines, new radiator for a v8, new exaust form the manifolds out, just get headers, and the fuel line is on the wrong side, so you need to get a tubing bender and some bulk trans line and fuel line, it is alot easier if you delete the a/c but i kept it cuz it still worked, if you delete a/c the you can use regular Chevy mounts for alt and Power Steering pump, if not then you have to cut the old a/c bracket and buy alot of spacers and just trial and error till the belts line up perfectly, two flat washers equals one spacer and two 1/8 inch spacers equal a 1\4 and so on. old power steering pump worked but had to get a new bracket and then space it, if u get a carb from a older car or a aftermarket carb then u really don't have to worry about electronics, just starter wires, alt wires and choke, oil pressure guage and water temp guage, trans wont fit so u need a 350 or 400 trans, or 700 but then u have electronics to deal with, but all brackets mounts and even drive shaft will fit, 350 trans with short tailshaft is what u will need
