What are the differences between insects and myriapoda?

Insects have a body that is composed of 3 segments ( head, thorax and abdomen) and 3 pairs of legs. They also have what are known as compound eyes. Most insects, especially those that are more complex, have wings whereas myriapods do not.

Myriapods include centipedes and millipedes. Most myriapods have between 20 and 400 legs, but they can have up to 375 pairsof legs, that's 750 legs total! They also have what are known as "simple" eyes.
