How do you find out if news is true or false?

Use your common sense, read and watch all different sources for news. If the same item appears across news networks it is more than likely true. Read books published on various topics, know your history, don’t get your information on social sites. Learn the difference between facts and opinions because there is a great deal of editorial opinions stated as facts. If it doesn’t make sense it probably isn’t true.
