What is turn key solution?

From my experience a turn key solution is where someone provides you a service or product that you have requested without your general participation. You request what you want, both parties agree, the providing party completes the project while you go on about your business doing other things in life you want to do, and when the project is complete the providing party notifies you, you inspect the 100% completed project, you pay for 100% of the project (or final balance), he gives you the "keys" (so to speak) and you now own 100% of it.
