Nuva Ring has a lower rate of breakthrough bleeding than the most commonly used Birth Control pills, but spotting in the first three months can occur. If it goes on longer than three months, if it's driving you crazy, or if you have other symptoms like pain or unusual discharge, contact your health care provider for advice and an exam.
