How can you reboot your laptop Windows Vista?

On your screen, click the Windows symbol at the bottom left, then move your mouse to the bottom right of the window that just popped up. There should be an arrow on that new menu, click that, then click Restart. If you are doing this because of a Windows Update, it should do it automatically for you.
