How did the eoraptor dinosaur defended from others?

Eoraptor was only 3 feet long with a weight of 22 lb. As it lacked any formidable weapons, it would have run from potential threats. If necessary, it probably could have bitten an enemy to defend itself, although that wouldn't have been very effective against most of its predators.
