What products are made from paper?

For the most part, crappy paper - it's just mashed up and watered down and then pressed dry like regular paper. Quality goes down each time the paper is re-processed, whereas the environmental damage done by paper recycling plants increases (due to chemical usage, etc). Recycling paper is stupid - it causes far more environmental damage than you might imagine.

Paper is made from trees grown specifically for paper pulp - soft pine and other 'junk' trees that grow quickly and are easily replaced. We don't make paper out of stately elms or majestic redwoods.

A:Paper is recycled into recycled paper and cardboard, which is often unbleached, so it causes less environmental damage than making paper from trees, that is, wood chips. A portion of new fibers are usually added to the recycled mix, so the paper is just as strong as the original.
