How do you tell if a water dragon is male or female?

If your beardie dragon has long poures inbetween the two hind legs, then it is a female. If the beard is permenant black after a year, then it is a male. And the last sign is that if the tail is long and thin, then it is a female, but if it is more fat and short, then it would be a male. If these are mixed and you are still unsure, I would take a nip down to your vets and get them checked out.
