How do you keep ants from attacking trees?

Hi, ants can be a real big problem sometimes, but a very easy n simple solution I have for them, I try it personally and get Excellent results. Dont kill them just put some wheat flour anywhere you want to keep ants away from, or ants are there and you want to get rid of them. It could be tree, kitchen, anywhere.
