In what habitat do wolves live?

A snowy one; animals need to survive and a white wolf would stick out like a sore thumb if it came to a forest that didn't have any white in it and sticking out against your own surroundings is a hard way to survive because they need to camouflage themselves to hide from animals bigger than them. (White wolves are actually just a subspecies of grey wolves; there are only a few types of species of wolves in the world. Grey wolf, red wolf, and the many subspecies of the grey wolf. The only white wolves recorded that I found were subspecies of the grey wolf.)
