How many farm animals do you kill every day?

Contrary to what you might have been told, most farmers don't kill animals everyday.

Most of us are farmers because we love animals. For hobby farmers it breaks our hearts to lose an animal or bird. On my farm the only time a hen is killed is to end her suffering when she is too ill to help with medicine and most of the farmers I know feel the same way.
