Does the body shop test in animals?

The Body Shop does not test their final products or their raw materials on animals.

The company was bought by L'Oreal (which does test on animals), but Anita Roddick (the founder of The Body Shop) was a firm believer in protecting animal rights, and so, in the sale contract, L'Oreal is forced to uphold the values of the original company.
