How do you change a backup light for a 2004 envoy?

To change the backup light on a 2004 GMC Envoy, first, open the rear hatch and locate the tail light assembly. Remove the screws or bolts securing the assembly and gently pull it out from the vehicle. Disconnect the wiring harness, then twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it. Replace the old bulb with a new one, reassemble the socket, reconnect the wiring, and secure the tail light assembly back into place.
