Does meicham evolve

In the Pokémon series of Video Games, the Pokémon Medicham evolves from another Pokémon called Meditite. While no natural evolution of Medicham exists, as of the Pokémon X and Y generation it is able to Mega Evolve into Mega Medicham with an item called Medichamite.
