Where are the bats in the can you see what i see on a scary scary night book pages 16 and 17?

In the "scary frown" that consumes nearly the entire page, there are two eyes. Inside the left eye is a seemingly unimportant statue. On the very top of this statue, rapping itself over the top of the round, oblong-shaped formation is a small horse's head, staring toward the left-side page.
