I was talking to someone for a month and a half and he told me it didn't matter if we are together or not but this is after I told him I didn't want to talk to him anymore did he really mean this?

It sounds like you guys have something else going on.... why did you tell him that you did not want to talk to him anymore? Personally, I think that this person would like to keep on talking to you, but taking things further is a different story. Was there an argument or something that lead you to not want to talk to that person?
