Do any male squirrels stay to care for the young?

In most squirrel species, male squirrels do not typically stay to care for the young. After mating, males generally leave, and the female is solely responsible for raising the offspring. She builds the nest, nurses the young, and teaches them essential survival skills until they are mature enough to fend for themselves.
